The GTX version is the new flagship of the ID. series, it is the first model with all-wheel drive, thanks to a one electric motor on each axle. Total maximum power output is 220 kW.
Acceleration to 100 km/h is 6.2 seconds. This is more than 2 seconds better than the rear-wheel drive version with 150 kW (8.5 seconds). The top speed has increased from 160 to 180 km/h.
The range has been reduced by 40 km from 520 to 480 km compared to the standard version.

The ID.4 GTX will be launched in Europe in summer 2021. In Germany, it will start at an entry-level price of 50,415 euros, with customers being able to apply for a (net) grant of 7,500 euros.
