There will be two variants, the i4 eDrive40 with 250 kW of power and rear-wheel drive and the i4 M50 with two electric motors and 400 kW of power. This is BMW's first all-wheel drive electric car and the first to be named "M"
The battery has a usable capacity of 80.7 kWh and will be rechargeable up to 200 kW. The battery is extremely low, and uses accumulators with a height of only 110 mm. The range is 590 km for the weaker version and 510 km for the M50, according to WLTP.
